Facebook Milestone – Google Does Live Chat Experiment

Milestones, Milestones.

It was last year at this time – I was interviewed on TV about Facebook turning 10 years old.

Now – a year later.

Facebook reached another milestone.

2 million advertisers.

Many of them – small biz folk – like you and me,

Now – I am not saying …

Go buy ads on FB.

It takes some strategy.

But it ain’t complicated.

It does work if done right.

And BTW – callin’ all my old school friends..

Ya know what?

FB Ads is more like Newspaper Advertising than fancy, shmancy  (ß how do you do spell that?) tech ads.

If you’re a “consumer-facing biz” it’s a must.

Alright – Onto some other news.

Google is testing a “live chat with this business now” feature.

Basically – it enables a “Google Hangout” live chat scenario to a Google user searching for info who has some questions, etc.

This may or may not stick. Keep an eye!

As a side – note – we use Twoople to enable chat on our website and we love it.
